SON OF THE STARS
Son of the Stars: Member Orientation Program
Membership in Beta Theta Pi is a lifelong commitment in which each member will experience brotherhood, personal growth and a sense of home. In achieving its mission to develop men of principle for a principled Life, Beta believes a critical component begins with a strong, well-rounded pledge education period.
To assist with this goal, Beta Theta Pi undergraduate members, volunteers and staff members have worked to develop Son of the Stars: Beta’s Member Orientation Program. This program incorporates discussions, experiential activities, personal reflection and high quality materials to orient and prepare students for membership in Beta Theta Pi.
As part of enrolling in the Son of the Stars program, the executive board officer overseeing member education is expected to attend training to learn best practices and processes for implementing the Son of the Stars program at their chapter or colony and meet chapters from around North America who will be utilizing the program alongside them.
